Get your morning started on a healthy foot with this fresh strawberry or banana matcha breakfast bowl that fuels your body and lifts your energy.

Start with a base of thick Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt in a bowl, then whisk 1 tsp of matcha powder with a splash of warm water and drizzle it over the top for a smooth green swirl. Add sliced fresh strawberries and banana for natural sweetness and colour. Sprinkle granola, chia seeds, and coconut flakes for crunch and texture. Finish with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for a perfectly balanced touch of sweetness.

Base (1 serving)

  • 200 g Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1 tsp Banana or Strawberry Matchasome Powder
  • 1–2 tbsp warm water (to dissolve matcha)

Fruit Layer

  • 4–6 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ½ banana, sliced (optional but recommended for sweetness)

Crunch + Structure

  • 2–3 tbsp granola
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes (optional)

Finish

  • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Optional pinch of sea salt (enhances sweetness)
  • Sprinkle of match powder on the top

Method

Whisk matcha powder with warm water until smooth and lump-free. Add yogurt to a bowl and swirl in the matcha mixture. Arrange sliced fruit on top, followed by granola, chia seeds, and coconut flakes. Finish with a light drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
