Disposal Instructions
Sustainability at Affairs Of Chemistry®
We want our products to be good not only for your skin – but also for the environment. Therefore, we ask you to pay attention to the correct disposal methods:
Empty Cosmetic Containers
Our products often come in plastic bottles, glass jars, tubes, or airless dispensers. Here's how to dispose of them correctly:
- Plastic packaging (e.g., bottles, jars, tubes) → Yellow bag / recycling bin
- Glass containers (e.g., jars, flacons) → Glass recycling container (sort by color)
- Pump dispensers & spray heads → unfortunately often not recyclable, please dispose of in residual waste
- Paper packaging → Paper recycling
- Package inserts / labels → according to material (paper or plastic)
Product Residues
If you don't use up a product completely, please don't dispose of cosmetic contents in the sink or toilet. This can harm water bodies and sewage treatment plants.Better
- Dispose of cosmetic contents (e.g., creams, lotions) in the sealed original container through residual waste.
Batteries, Electronic Components (e.g., Tools)
Should we offer products with electronic components (e.g., rechargeable tools) in the future, you will find information here about return and recycling obligations according to ElektroG. Currently, our products do not contain any electronic components or batteries.
Return of Packaging (optional)
We are working on solutions for taking back and recycling packaging. More information will be available on this page soon.
