Delivery Information and Questions to Deliveries

Delivery Times
We ship all orders with DHL and dispatch them within one business day at the latest. After dispatch, delivery usually takes:
Germany: 1–2 days
Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland: 2–5 days

Order Processing & Delivery Information
Orders placed after 12:00 PM on Fridays or during the weekend will be processed on the next business day. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

Please note that delivery time frames are estimates only. Delays may occur due to public holidays, courier disruptions, severe weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Affairs Of Chemistry®.

Delivery Countries and Shipping Costs
We ship to Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. We currently do not ship to other countries.

Standard shipping within Germany costs €5.90 and is free from an order value of €70. Standard shipping to Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland costs €15. The minimum order value is €20.

Switzerland: prices include German VAT. Swiss customs duties and import taxes may be charged on arrival and are payable by the recipient.

Local Pickup
You can collect your order free of charge from our store at Schliemannstr. 25A, 10437 Berlin. Choose pickup at checkout. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, and we will email you when your order is ready. Please be ready to identify yourself when collecting it. You will receive the till receipt or our shop invoice as your invoice. The minimum order value of €20 also applies to pickup.

Shipping & Tracking Information
A tax invoice will be included in your shipping confirmation email. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to the DHL tracking page.

You can monitor the status of your order at any time using this link.

Please note: It may take up to 48 hours for tracking information to appear on the courier’s website.

Shipping of Dangerous Goods
Some of our products are classified as Class 3 Flammable Liquids for transportation purposes. Parcels containing these items are packaged and labelled in accordance with all relevant Dangerous Goods regulations to ensure safe and compliant shipping.

Class 3 Flammable Liquids – Cosmetic Products
Some of our cosmetic products are classified as Class 3 Flammable Liquids due to their alcohol content or volatile ingredients. These include, but are not limited to:

Perfumes and eau de toilettes

Alcohol-based room sprays/diffusers and linen sprays.

Facial mists or toners containing ethanol or isopropyl alcohol

Nail polish and nail polish remover

Alcohol-based hand sanitisers

Setting sprays or cosmetic sprays with flammable propellants

Pricing & Tax Information
All prices listed on the Affairs Of Chemistry® Germany website include VAT (Mehrwertsteuer).

The total amount paid, including VAT, will be clearly stated on the invoice included in your shipping confirmation email.

Company Invoices
If you require a company receipt, please include the relevant details in the billing address to ensure we have the correct information for the invoice.
