Straight hair from white blond model from the back

Hair clips, barrettes and hairpins from independent makers, most of them made in France from cellulose acetate or metal. A barrette with a clasp sits flat and holds loose strands or a half-up style, a claw clip takes more hair, and hairpins fix a bun.

Pique et Pince makes its barrettes by hand in France from cellulose acetate: the extra-fine Carmen, 11 cm long, in shell or tortoise, the slim Clara with a ball-pin fastening that opens and closes in a single motion, and, for buns, hairpins in light tortoiseshell or black.

Sylvain Le Hen's metal barrettes for HAIR DESIGNACCESS are made in France: the No. 047 in brass comes as a gold or silver barrette, the No. 044 is a black hair cuff, and the No. 014 hairpin fixes a bun in a single movement, in fine and thick hair alike.

JONÅ THE LABEL's hair clips are made from hand-polished cellulose acetate: Maya is made for the messy bun, Josefin holds fine and thick hair and is large enough to pin all of it up, and the two small GRWM clips keep your hair out of your face while you do your make-up.

Wipe acetate and metal with a soft, dry cloth, and keep them away from heat, water and hairspray.
