Natural Sea Sponge Large
Raw natural sponges from the Greek Mediterranean.
We Love
Sea sponges have been around for 1000 of years. They are wonderful to soap up with in the shower to remove dead skin cells and are 100% biodegradable . These sponges are sustainably harvested in the sea above the root so that every sponge can grow back.
Get a luxurious showering and bathing experience. Lather up with shower gel and soaps. Each sponge is unique. When moist, they become luxuriously soft so that they glide smoothly over the skin and provide a very gentle exfoliation.
Care: Sea sponges last upwards of six months plus, even when used daily, so long as they are properly cleaned and maintained. Here's an easy care guide.
Rinse out any soap after using the sponge daily.
Fully dried between uses, on a plate or on the bathroom window ledge with lots of light and air.
Occasionally between uses wash with antimicrobial wash for example tea tree.
Avoid extreme heat, abrasion and dry naturally
Available in sizes Large circa 16cm and Very Large circa 20cm
In 1897, Gustav Croll and Theodor Denecke decided to import raw natural sponges from the Greek Mediterranean to Bremen and refine them here by hand. We still do this today – but in the meantime we have expanded our product range to include sustainable spa and household products. We are Peter, Nina and Sara Hankiewicz, the third and fourth generation in our enterprise. Our mission: Sustainable skin and body care products with a good conscience and in harmony with nature.
Say NO! To micro plastics ending up in our oceans and water ways.
