Returns & withdrawal

For online orders you have 21 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you (or a person you name, other than the carrier) receive the goods. Full details are in our return and refund policy.

The easiest way is our online withdrawal form – no account needed, and you'll receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email. Alternatively, send us a clear statement that you are withdrawing, by email to support@affairsofchemistry.com or by letter to The Green Edge UG, Schliemannstr. 25A, 10437 Berlin.

Please send the goods within 21 days of your withdrawal to:
The Green Edge UG – Returns Department
Schliemannstr. 25A
10437 Berlin
Germany
Please pack everything securely and return only items from the same delivery note in one parcel – otherwise processing your refund may take longer.

If you withdraw, you pay the cost of sending the goods back to us. If a product is defective or we sent you the wrong item, we pay the return postage – please contact us first at support@affairsofchemistry.com with your order number. If you withdraw, we also refund the original standard delivery costs (see below).

Yes. If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery costs. Extra costs for a delivery option more expensive than our standard delivery are not refunded. The cost of sending the goods back to us is not refunded, unless the goods are defective or wrong.

We refund you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal, using the payment method you originally used. We may hold back the refund until the goods are back with us or you have shown that you sent them, whichever happens first. If you owe compensation for a loss in value (see below), we may deduct it from the refund.

Cosmetics that come into direct contact with your body, such as creams, deodorants and lip products, can't be returned if they were delivered sealed and you removed the seal after delivery. A seal is a protective foil, shrink wrap or seal sticker. Products without a seal can be returned within the withdrawal period, but if you used them beyond testing, you pay compensation for the loss in value – for used products, up to the full price.

Yes, within the withdrawal period. You may test a perfume as you could in a shop. If more has been taken from the bottle than is needed for that, you pay compensation for the loss in value; the amount depends on how much was used. Full details are in our return and refund policy.

Yes. Your statutory right of withdrawal also applies to discounted products, under the same conditions as for all other products. Sale items are only excluded from our voluntary exchange (see the next question). Full details are in our return and refund policy.

Yes, if the product is unopened, undamaged and still sealed, you can exchange it for another product from our range within 21 days. Price differences are settled by an additional payment or a voucher. Return and new shipping costs are at your expense. Sale items are excluded from exchange. Just email us at support@affairsofchemistry.com.

We're sorry! Please contact us at support@affairsofchemistry.com with photos and your order number – ideally within 7 days of receipt, so we can sort it out quickly. Your statutory warranty rights apply in any case; this request doesn't shorten them. We pay the return postage for defective or wrongly delivered items.

The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to purchases made online or by other means of distance communication, not to purchases made in our store. If a product you bought in the store is faulty, your statutory warranty rights apply. Please bring it back to the store or contact us at support@affairsofchemistry.com; your till receipt or shop invoice helps us deal with it quickly.
