Did you know the Romans discovered these stones 100's of years ago, and they were already a part of the daily bathing/beauty routine.
The properties of pumice stones depends on the volcano area they come from, giving each piece a unique concoction of molten minerals. This composition is usually of silica aluminum oxide, and other minerals include ferric oxide, potassium, sodium oxide.
Soak your foot or other affected area in warm, soapy water for 5 minutes or until the skin softens. Wet the pumice and rub it gently against your skin using light, short strokes without causing pain.
Rinse off the dead skin regularly with a brush and hang to completely dry in a sunny spot.
In 1897, Gustav Croll and Theodor Denecke decided to import raw natural sponges from the Greek Mediterranean to Bremen and refine them here by hand. We still do this today – but in the meantime we have expanded our product range to include sustainable spa and household products. We are Peter, Nina and Sara Hankiewicz, the third and fourth generation in our enterprise. Our mission: Sustainable skin and body care products with a good conscience and in harmony with nature.
