The second fragrance from our newly launched Gabar Urban Collection, 05 (LUDLOW) Lull reflects on the hidden rituals of the city evening. Inspired by the energy of the concrete jungle and paying homage to the brand’s first home of New York, 05 Lull is a sweet but social concoction, opening with notes of Orange Blossom Black Tea, leading into a fun, tangy heart of Red Apple, Cherry, Rose, and rounding off with an alluring base of Sandalwood and white musk.

We imagine that moment of unwinding: letting go or letting loose, the rhythms of going out seeking connection, or taking time to re-connect with ourselves.

The city below was a constant hum of horns and footsteps, but up here, on Harold’s Manhattan balcony, time seemed to slow. He stepped onto the warm wooden deck, a record spinning on his vintage turntable. Haydn’s gentle strings filled the air, threading through the high-rise canyons like a ribbon of calm.

The first scent that touched him was orange blossom, bright and luminous, mingling with the faint, comforting bitterness of black tea in a porcelain cup. The fragrances wrapped around him, softening the steel-and-glass edges of the city.

Harold’s eyes traced the geometry of his balcony garden, each planter a carefully chosen shape, each plant deliberately placed. Dwarf red apple and cherry trees bore tiny fruits, their sweet aroma drifting like a memory. Climbing roses twisted around the trellis, petals unfurling in slow-motion grace, their perfume rising in sync with Haydn’s violins.

As evening fell, golden light touched the city skyline, and the base notes of his sanctuary emerged. Sandal wood planters radiated warmth, cashmere wood furniture exuded a soft, tactile comfort, and a whisper of white musk floated from a candle flickering in the corner. The scents blended with the music, the city’s distant roar softened to a muted backdrop, and Harold closed his eyes.

He could feel the architecture of his life, the precision of his designs, the rhythm of the music, the choreography of scents, all converging in this small, suspended world. Every current was a composition, every glance a frame. In that moment, the city, the garden, and Harold himself became one living, breathing work of art.
