Lip Gloss Iconic Edition
A translucent, non-sticky gloss in five shades, worn on its own or over lipstick.
A late lunch, a glance in a shop window, a touch of shine before heading back out. This gloss belongs to the small moments in between.
The doe-foot applicator lays down a translucent tint that catches the light and does not feel sticky. Castor seed oil, with sweet almond, jojoba, macadamia and sunflower seed oils and shea butter, keeps the lips soft and comfortable. Worn alone, it is a whisper of colour. Over a lipstick, it adds depth and gloss.

Admire is a berry pink with a mauve cast, Affinity a soft, peachy pink, Fascination a coral pink, Tenderness a pink nude and Red Hot, as the name says, a red.
Red Hot is a vegan formula; the other four shades contain carmine.
When the gloss is used up, the inner tube and wand come out of the Iconic Edition case and a refill slides in. Layered over Kjaer Weis Lipstick, it turns the colour glossy: Tenderness over Serene, Red Hot over Confidence. On the cheeks, Lovely Cream Blush picks up the berry tone of Admire.

For full shine, glide the applicator over both lips. For a quieter sheen, dot a little onto the middle of the lower lip and press the lips together.
Over lipstick, blot first so that no excess remains, then dot the gloss onto the lower lip only and let a light press of the lips carry it across. The colour underneath stays where it is.
Kjaer Weis was launched in May 2010 by makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis. Its look draws on Danish minimalism, and from the start she gave the case as much thought as the colour inside it: creamy textures for cheeks, lips and eyes, held in an object worth keeping.
For that case, Kjaer Weis approached the French designer Marc Atlan, whose perfume bottle for Comme des Garçons had been an inspiration. Together they developed the Iconic Edition, a metal case designed to be refilled: when the makeup is used up, only the pan or inner tube is replaced. The design took around two years to refine and comes in a box of red textured paper.
