Matte, Naturally Liquid Lipstick Iconic Edition
A deep berry liquid lipstick that sets to a soft, velvety matte and stays comfortable.
A late dinner by candlelight, a conversation that runs long, and a deep berry on the lips with the softness of velvet.
Lush flows on from the doe-foot applicator and dries down within moments to a velvety matte, light on the lips and comfortable to wear. Castor and jojoba seed oils, shea butter and sunflower seed oil give the formula its comfort. It is vegan and certified organic by CCPB.
Dabbed on with a fingertip, it becomes a softer stain. It comes in the metal Iconic Edition case, which is designed to be refilled.

Lush is a deep berry with a cool undertone, a rich shade that also suits deeper-toned lips.
The formula is certified organic by CCPB (Certificate CB/09) and contains no animal-derived ingredients.
Lined first with a lip pencil and filled in with a lip brush, it gives a full, defined matte. For a matching flush, pair it with Lovely Cream Blush. When it is used up, the inner tube and applicator come out of the Iconic Edition case and a refill slides in.

Lips should be clean and dry; any balm applied beforehand needs a moment to sink in, and what remains is blotted away. Trace the outline with the applicator first, then fill in the rest and give the colour a moment to set before the lips touch.
A fingertip dabbing the colour on instead of the applicator gives a softer, stained effect. An oil-based makeup remover or micellar water takes it off again.
Kjaer Weis was launched in May 2010 by makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis. Its look draws on Danish minimalism, and from the start she gave the case as much thought as the colour inside it: creamy textures for cheeks, lips and eyes, held in an object worth keeping.
For that case, Kjaer Weis approached the French designer Marc Atlan, whose perfume bottle for Comme des Garçons had been an inspiration. Together they developed the Iconic Edition, a metal case designed to be refilled: when the makeup is used up, only the pan or inner tube is replaced. The design took around two years to refine and comes in a box of red textured paper.
